I am an indie author, and have just released my first novel, Girl Under Glass.
My books entail elements of fantasy or science fiction, often include historical settings, and have been described as lyrical, powerful, and sensual. I hold an English literature degree from UCLA, which was gathering dust until 2009 when I began work on my first historical fantasy novel. I currently work for a web design/development firm where my official title is Trouble-maker. I live in Seattle with my husband and daughter and our two rock ‘em sock ‘em catbots.
My work includes sensual love scenes, but not erotica. While you won’t find any “dangly bits” (as one of my critique group members calls them), you will find passion. I also am unafraid of violence. That being said, I’m a firm believer in the right amount at the right time and trusting you, the reader, to fill in the gaps with your own imagination.
I hope you’re intrigued enough by what you read on the Books page to buy my work.

Monica
